The collaborative project »SEB - Schnellladesysteme für Elektrobusse im ÖPNV« (Fast Charging Systems for Electric Buses in Public Transport), which received 4.6 million euros of funding from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, featured the sub-projects »E-ÖPNV« (development of a fully-electric city bus with automated fast-charging stations) and »EDDA-Bus« (electromobility demonstration, docking application for buses). Both sub-projects focused on the development of core technologies for buses with fast-charging capacity in different application scenarios and the testing in route service in the cities of Münster and Dresden.
